Fees and Payment
A supportive relationship between the provider and the client is incredibly important. For this reason, all of our providers offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer questions and to evaluate fit before you schedule an appointment.
Sessions are 50 minutes long. Our fee is $150 per session. Sliding scale options are available on a limited basis.
Payment is due at the time of session. We accept cash, check, or credit cards. A 4%*service fee will be added for credit card transactions

*please note: we are suspending the 4% service fee for use of cards until the stay at home orders are lifted. During this time, you are welcome to pay via card through the portal or mail checks made out to "Center for Community Healing" to 568 Grand Canyon Drive, Madison, WI 53719
As of June 15, 2020, Shannon will be an in network provider for the Alliance. If you are wanting to use insurance to pay for services, please call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask for help understanding your mental health benefits. Helpful questions include:
Do I have a deductible and has this been met for the year?
What are my financial responsibilities per session? (it is common for people to have a co-payment or co-insurance that is not covered)
Do you cover video telehealth?
How many sessions do you cover per year?
Do I need a referral from my primary care provider?
What else should I know about my mental health benefits?
The Center for Community Healing does not currently accept other forms of insurance. Please contact your insurer to learn about reimbursement for out-of-network services; if your insurance offers out-of-network reimbursement, we can generate a SuperBill for you to submit to your insurance carrier.
